Apple stores in NYC and around the world are closing for 90 minutes today, October 19th, so Apple retail store employees can participate in a special memorial service for Steve Jobs, the real, original Apple genius and former CEO who passed away earlier this month from pancreatic cancer. The memorial service is being broadcast live from company headquarters in Cupertino, California. Apple stores in NYC are closed 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. today.
