Travel Deal: Once again, JetBlue is offering an airfare sale with the lure of one-way tickets as low as $39 tickets if you book by Feb. 1, for travel by March 31.
The cheap seats are good for travel on all JetBlue routes into or out of JFK, LGA and EWR.
So this is the time to think about getting away to someplace warm, in the Caribbean or Palm Springs, or someplace close to chairlifts, like Denver, at bargain rates.
This is one of JetBlue’s regular airfare sales, which the NYC-based airline is calling The Big Winter Sale.
Combine that with discount prices on cruise lines and hotels, and this is travel on the cheap. Just be vaccinated and follow masking rules on board or in town.

Such sales are a regular thing with JetBlue, which has been offering two-day sales for several years.
While the only $39 fare from NYC is to Boston, there are plenty of other great discounts:
Sample one-way fares for the Big Winter Sale are:
- $49 between NYC and Ft. Lauderdale or Fort Myers
- $149 between NYC and Los Angeles or Palm Springs
- $74 between NYC and New Orleans
- $104 between NYC and Montego Bay
Remember that your bags no longer fly FREE on JetBlue, which has joined the list of airlines charging you for just about everything except the seatbelt.
But JetBlue charges only $35 for the first checked bag - “only”, because most other airlines charge $50.
These JetBlue discount fares are not available from Orbitz, Hotwire, CheapTickets, LowestFare, Travelocity, Expedia or Priceline.
