In addition to the annual FREE outdoor summer concert series in NYC parks, the New York Philharmonic offers FREE tickets to Friday performances - but only to young people aged 13-26.
It’s an effort to introduce the next generation to the music of Beethoven, Bach, Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Strauss and other classical favorites.
There are just 100 free tickets for young people available for each Philharmonic Free Fridays concert, for tickets normally priced between $50 and $169.
