All offer great Margaritas year-round in your choice of frozen or on the rocks, with or without a salted rim, flavored or not.
These family-owned and locally-owned restaurants offer special Margarita happy hour deals during the week, too, along with bar bites specials.

Reservations are recommended for National Tequila Day in July, National Margarita Day in February, and Cinco de Mayo in May.
All the NYC restaurants listed have re-opened for dine-in, in accordance with NYC regulations, and several also have expansive sidewalk seating. Take-out and delivery also are available.

Havana Central
This restaurant specializes in traditional Cuban cooking and Cuban-style drinks, including hand-made mojiotos, which are rum-based, not tequila-based.
Happy Hour is Monday-Friday, 4pm to 7pm, with drink and bar food deals.
Menu choices are the Classic Cuban Sandwich, a grilled ham and cheese marvel, for $13.95. And no Cuban meal is complete without a flan for dessert.

Cantina Taqueria & Tequila Bar
Margaritas are $7 during weekday Happy Hours, 3pm to 7pm, including strawberry and mango and less common passion fruit and cucumber.
There also are taco specials ranging from $2.95 to $3.75, and $4 on Taco Tuesdays, including fish, brisket and shrimp tacos.
Cantina also known for serving tortillas made fresh daily, at Tortilleria Nixtamal in Queens, which uses only organic, non-GMO corn, planted and harvested by environmentally-conscious farmers in Illinois, delivered fresh to NYC each week.

Dos Caminos
Margaritas are $12 to $15, unless you go for $45 Millionaire, with super-pricey Don Julio 1942 tequila. Unfortunately, the prickly pear Margarita is available only in frozen style.
This mini-chain also has great guacamole, served in the traditional volcanic stone bowl, to accompany your Margs.

Mad Dog & Beans Cantina
Go for the FREE Tequila Tastings on Wednesdays, to decide which one you want for your Margarita.
Go with a group of friends and drink yourself silly with the Margarita Tower, approximately three liters of liquid, for $110. It’s made with fresh-squeezed citrus fruits and tequila, of course, and you can customize the cocktails with one of nine flavors for an additional $10 each.
It can get rowdy when there’s a Tower party in the house.

National Tequila Day Deals at National Chains
Uncle Julio’s
This Dallas-based chain is offering a 16-ounce Frozen or Swirl Margarita to go for only $5 at participating locations on National Tequila Day, for to-go orders placed online with a food purchase.
They are served well-frozen in convenient soft pouches. Take them home and let the margaritas sit at room temperature for 15 to 30 minutes until they achieve that perfect slushy consistency, pour into glasses, and enjoy. Uncle Julio’s invented the Swirl Margarita in the 1980s, made with layers of frozen margarita and homemade sangria.
Uncle Julio’s also offers a Margarita of the Month, which changes monthly. July’s Fresh Margarita of the Month is the Peach Margarita, made with freshly squeezed lime juice, muddled peaches 100% agave Lunazul Tequila and St. Germain 12. for that unmistakably fresh taste.
