McDonald’s Throwback Thursdays: 15-35 Cent Items

POSTED BY
Evelyn Kanter

mcdonald's throwback thursdaysMcDonald’s is celebrating its role as part of the American landscape with Throwback Thursdays, when you can get favorite items like fries or a shake for old-fashioned prices of 15, 20, 25  or 35 cents.

The cheap eats promotion is for six Thursdays only, Jan. 14 to Feb. 18, with a different item each week, at participating locations.

With a deal this good, you know there are requirements and limitations. So here they are:

To get the special price, you must make an additional minimum purchase of $1.

To get the special price, you must order exclusively on the McDonald’s app.

The Throwback Thursday deal is not available for in-restaurant order.

Deals change every week, and each 15-35 cent deal is available one day only.

Here’s what’s on the menu for the weekly offer:

McDonald's Throwback Thursday

Jan. 14 – Small fries for 15 cents

Jan. 21 – Cheeseburger for 25 cents

Jan. 28 – Small shake for 25 cents

Feb. 4 – Apple pie for 20 cents

Feb. 11 – Large fries for 35 cents

Feb. 18 – Cheeseburger for 25 cents

Remember, the offer is available only through the McDonald’s app. — not in-restaurant. Plus, the sale item is  available only with an additional purchase of at least $1.

For bargain hunters, the least expensive “additional purchase” option at most locations is a fountain drink (any size), which sells for just one buck.
