NYC Free: Museum Admission by Day of Week

free museum admission nyc

With admission to some NYC museums now up to $25 per person, be smart - and cheap - and visit when these must-see destinations are FREE.

The caveat, of course, is that free means crowded with others enjoying NYC culture on the cheap.

These are the FREE days and times at New York City museum, listed by day of the week.

Note that these days even FREE admission days require advance reservations.

The motto of NYC on the Cheap is Get More NYC for Less Money.

FREE museum admission is a great way to do that.

Although we update this free museum admission schedule regularly, be sure to check the museum website before you head out, since times and dates can change.
