’Twas the Night Before…

This is an exhilarating spin on the beloved Christmas classic poem as only the legendary Cirque du Soleil could imagine.

It is Cirque du Soleil’s first-ever Christmas show, and only in New York.

This festive show about the wonders of sharing and friendship promises to spark lasting memories in the hearts of families this holiday season. Join Isabella, a curious girl who’s become jaded by the hoopla surrounding Christmas, as she is whisked away to an upside-down, inside-out world where she meets characters inspired by the original timeless poem.

This experience is an extravaganza of Christmas cheer, rip-roaring fun and hugely lovable characters that will become a new tradition for families to cherish. Discover what happened before Santa dropped in.

Discount tickets start at $37, which is $20 off the box office price.

Nutcracker Rouge

This risque adults only burlesque version of the favorite holiday ballet returns to NYC for 2019. Dubbed “dazzling and genius” by The New York Times and “the perfect hot date” (TimeOut NY), Nutcracker Rouge features a burlesque-inspired blend of theater, cirque and dance from creator Austin McCormick and his gender-bending troupe Company XIV.

Nominated for a Drama Desk Award in 2014, Nutcracker Rouge uses erotic, sensual and opulent flair to satisfy adults searching for edgier holiday entertainment. If the thought of a Nutcracker prince in a sparkling thong puts you in a festive mood, then this dark and decadent vaudeville version of the famed Christmas ballet is sure to knock your stockings off.

Discount tickets start at $79 through December, and drop to $59 if you can wait until January.

Paul Winter’s 40th Annual Winter Solstice Celebration

For 40 years, Grammy-winning saxophonist Paul Winter has been bringing together a bevy of talented multicultural artists in the breathtaking setting of New York’s Cathedral of St. John the Divine to recreate an ancient winter-solstice celebration for the modern age.

In 2019, special guests Noel Paul Stookey (of Peter, Paul and Mary), gospel singer Theresa Thomason, the ten-member jazz-world music ensemble the Paul Winter Consort, as well as 25 dancers and drummers of the Forces of Nature Dance Theatre are set to star in the 2019 edition, filled with festive music and dance.

The New York Times calls this spectacular salute to the longest night of the year, “An immersive, multimedia extravaganza, as grand and expansive as its location.”

Performances Thursday/Friday/Saturday, Dec. 19-21 only.

Discount tickets are $19, half the box officr price.
