The programs are FREE with museum admission - and admission is FREE for for Veterans and active duty personnel on Veterans Day and Friday, Nov. 12.

Writing Veteran Experiences: Women’s Voices After Military Service
Hear from five women veterans about their military service and experiences of writing about it afterwards.
There will be short readings and a moderated panel discussion about their lives after the military and the process of engaging with narrative to help share veteran experiences.

Musical Performance featuring Alexis Cole
Experience a hilarious one-woman show starring well-known jazz vocalist Alexis Cole as she reflects on her experience as a soldier during Army basic training.
Cole reports back from the front lines and sings iconic, World War II-era pop standards from composers including Arthur Schwartz, Johnny Mercer, Irving Berlin and Frank Loesser.
