Own a piece of musical history.
Alicia Keys is auctioning her beloved piano to raise money for MusiCares, which provides critical assistance for those in the music industry.
The piano is a Steinway & Sons upright produced here in NYC, at their factory in Astoria, Queens.
The beautiful turquoise Boston 126E upright is signed by Alicia Keys and donated by Steinway & Sons.
Alicia Keys used this bright Boston upright recently in an Amazon livestream event and in a promotion for the New York 2020 Census.
The piano even will be shipped free to buyers in US addresses in most states, including the Tri-State area of NY, NJ and Conn.
The piano has been part of the artist’s life, including photobombing her social media, and practiced and performed on by Alicia Keys herself in her home.
While MusiCares has multiple assistance programs, this auction specifically is for MusiCares COVID-19 Relief, supporting those who have lost their jobs because of the cancellation of concerts, theater performances, studio recording work, even weddings and Bar Mitzvahs.
100% of the proceeds of this auction will be donated to MusiCares COVID-19 Relief, which provides a safety net of critical assistance for music people in times of need, treating each case with integrity and confidentiality.
You have until August 15 to make a bid.
