Many national restaurant chains also are offering Thanksgiving Dinner in 2015, many for $20 or less.

Bubby’s Tribeca
This neighborhood favorite began as a pie company into serving traditional American comfort food in a relaxed setting. Bubby’s classic, family-style Thanksgiving dinner with roast turkey and traditional fixings is being served at both of its locations from noon to 8pm. Dinner is $65 for adults and $40 for kids 12 and younger. Make reservations at either 120 Hudson Street or 73 Gansevoort Street
Carmine’s
Huge, family-style portions are the norm here, so it’s an ideal destination any time for a large crowd. The Thanksgiving menu features an 18-pound turkey and traditional fixings and sides, for $239.95. That sounds like a lot, but since it serves up to ten people, the true cost is less than $30 per person. The location in the Theater District is popular with tourists. Real New Yorkers prefer the original, Upper West Side location. 200 W. 44th Street 2450 Broadway at 90th St.

Iguana Mexican Restaurant & Dance Lounge
Children 10 and under eat FREE on Thanksgiving, and adults pay only $21.95. The three-course dinner includes traditional roast turkey and fixings and Mexican black bean soup, fried ice cream and a Tres Leches dessert. 240 West 54th St.
Hill Country Barbeque
Finger-licking fabulous Texas-style barbecue, serving up brisket, sausage, ribs and other meats cooked slow and low in its custom, meat-smoking room. The dine-in Thanksgiving menu features traditional favorites and classic barbecue items, including pit-smoked turkey, pork spare ribs, Texas toast stuffing, Longhorn cheddar mac and cheese, and bourbon pecan pie. Dinner is 11:30am to 7pm. Adults are $45 and kids 10 and younger are $20. A take-out menu is available; call for reservations. Jacob’s Pickles
Housemade pickles and biscuits have made this unpretentious Upper West Side tavern a neighborhood favorite. The Thanksgiving menu includes buttermilk biscuits, pickles, roasted butternut soup, roasted turkey with biscuit bread stuffing, smoked country ham steak and braised pork shoulder, or for vegetarians, roasted harvest vegetables, plus macaroni and cheese, and for dessert enjoy biscuit pumpkin bread pudding with handmade pumpkin frozen custard. Dinner is $55 for adults and $35 for kids 12 and younger. Seatings are at 2pm, 4pm - perfect for families with young children - and 6pm. Call for reservations. 509 Amsterdam Avenue
The tavern’s name is from the area’s original name in centuries past, when it was NYC forest, before bulldozers and cement. The rest of the year, Jones Wood Foundry specializes in British beer and pub food, but switches to a traditional American Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings on Thanksgiving. Sylvia’s - This iconic Harlem eatery has been serving families Southern-style comfort food for generations. The Thanksgiving menu includes glazed ham with pineapple sauce, barbecued ribs and fried chicken. Sides include collard greens, candied yams, sassy rice, macaroni and cheese and garlic mashed potatoes. Instead of pumpkin pie, Sylvia’s offers sweet potato pie, peach cobbler or banana pudding. The family-style menu (for parties of 5 or more) is $34.95 for adults and $16.95 for kids 10 and younger. 328 Malcolm X Boulevard
The Cecil - Executive chef JJ Johnson celebrates Afro-Asian-American influences with a menu including collard green salad, spiced pumpkin soup, oysters and dumplings, palm sugar-brined turkey dinner with all the fixings, Skuna Bay salmon, pork sirloin or tofu dumplings. Thanksgiving dinner is served 1pm to 8pm and cost $55 per person, including kids. 210 W. 118th St
