The ongoing popularity of the AMC mega-hit Mad Men is helping bring back skinny ties and old-fashioned cocktails.
But it can’t bring back Pennsylvania Station, Ebbetts Field, where the Brooklyn Dodgers played, the Polo Grounds, where the New York Giants played, or other beloved landmarks of the NYC that has vanished.
The NY Daily News has collected 50 historic photos from the Mad Men era — that would be the Sixties — for a fascinating trip down memory lane.
