Feel like an Olympian in Lake Placid, which has hosted the Winter Games twice, in 1932 and 1980.
Whiteface Lodge is offering a Winter Games Experience package that includes special admission to the Lake Placid Olympic Museum and Ski Jumping Complex, plus the chance to ski or snowboard the same slopes and tracks as as Lake Placid’s homegrown champions, super-G silver medalist Andrew Wilbrecht, three-time bobsled medalist Steve Holcomb and Erin Hamlin, the first American woman to win an Olympic luge medal.
The package also include a special Olympic-themed welcome amenity and two 50-minute sports massages.
The Winter Games Experience Package is available through March 31, starting at $476 per night for two, and includes full American breakfast daily, homemade cookies at turndown, nightly s’mores, and access to all resort amenities, including a 56-seat movie theater and two-lane bowling alley.
This is a luxury resort, and accommodations feature balconies, fireplaces and full kitchen, so it’s also a great romantic retreat for Valentine’s Day weekend.
