If you aren’t cooking on Thanksgiving, you can gobble up a holiday feast at one of these locally-owned, family-friendly restaurants in Brooklyn. Nothing on our list is more than $70 for adults or $35 for kids.

Buttermilk Channel – Named for the waterway between Brooklyn and Governors Island, this eatery is popular for its fresh comfort food including house-made pickles and buttermilk fried chicken. The Thanksgiving menu features a cider-brined roast turkey with buttermilk whipped potatoes, cranberry ginger sauce and sweet potato and butternut squash gratin. The three-course meal is $55 per person, including kids. – Open since 2012 and known for affordably priced dishes using locally sourced and sustainable ingredients. The Thanksgiving menu features a twist on some classics, including turkey breast Milanese and pumpkin lasagna, plus such holiday staples as parsnip and apple stuffing, port wine cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and apple and pumpkin pies. Farm on Adderley – There are five, two-hour table seatings, starting at noon, for a three-course, prix fixe menu with seasonal local fare, including a traditional Thanksgiving plate. Adults are $55 and a kids’ Thanksgiving plate is available for $25, including dessert. There are also four, two-hour seatings at the bar starting at 1pm. Marco Polo Ristorante – Always a favorite destination for to celebrate everything from birthdays and weddings to communions and holidays, this Italian eatery is ideal for large groups. Annual Thanksgiving dinner features a three-course prix fixe Italian meal, or traditional roast turkey with mashed potatoes, gravy and cranberry sauce.
