Countdown to Superbowl XLVIII: Even the NYC Metropolitan Museum of Art is getting into football frenzy, with a special Superbowl XLVIII themed exhibit. Gridiron Greats is a display of vintage football trading cards printed between the 1890s and 1950s. The display includes tarding cards of legendary coach Knute Rockne and Olympian Jim Thorpe, one of the 20th century’s greatest athletes, along with rare photos of early varsity teams. Exhibit website
