Celebrate the Super Bowl in Times Square with five days of FREE football-themed activities and events before the big game, when Broadway becomes Super Bowl Boulevard, Wed., Jan. 29 to Sat., Feb. 1, 2014.
There will be live concerts, the chance to snap a photo with the Vince Lombardi Trophy or in front of huge Super Bowl XLVIII numerals, race down a specially made seven-story tall toboggan run, and more. It’s all happening on Broadway between 34th Street and 47th Streets. The game itself will be shown live on the Times Square Jumbotrons.
Stop by for daily free autograph sessions with current and former NFL players, noon–6pm, and free concerts, are daily, 8–10pm, both between 39th and 40th Streets.
- Super Bowl XLVIII Roman Numerals: Pose in front of the oversize numerals commemorating this year’s game and don’t be afraid to get snap happy, between 42nd and 43rd Streets.
- Toboggan Run: In celebration of the first open-air cold-weather Super Bowl, enjoy a wintry ride—this seven story slide is painted to look like the real, snowy, deal. Note that this ride is not free. Tickets can be purchased on site, between 40th and 41st Streets.

In case you didn’t know, Super Bowl XLVIII is being played at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. FOX, NFL Network, CBS, CNN and ESPN will broadcast the festivities live.
