It’s being called the “Mourning After” party, with happy hour discounts for fans of the team which loses Super Bowl XLVIII. Drown your shattered spirits on Monday, Feb. 3 at Vander Bar in the Roosevelt Hotel, with fellow supporters of whichever team does not get to take home the Lombardi Trophy to Denver or Seattle.
In a neat twist, Vander Bar is offering a discount based on the game’s point spread – whatever your team lost by is the percentage discount on drinks, whether that’s a straight shot or one of the themed cocktails created for the occasion, including “Go Somewhere Else, Seahawks” or “Denver Stops at the Door.” So, a 15-point loss equals a 15 percent off tabs.
Discounts are offered for fans dressed in the losing team’s attire at Vander Bar on Monday, Feb. 3 during open hours, 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Roosevelt hotel is at 45th St. and Vanderbilt Avenue, across from Grand Central Terminal.
Check the NYCOTC Super Bowl XLVIII page for more news about parties and events, including the FREE events in Times Square and at Pier 40.
In the spirit of NYC on the Cheap, we wish both the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks could win the Big Game.
