The popular LA sushi restaurant Sugarfish has opened its first NYC branch, in Union Square/Flatiron. Sugarfish sushi is different, because Chef Kazunori Nqzawa serves the rice warm for a unique taste experience. The warm rice literally makes the sushi and rolls melt in your mouth.
Sugarfish NYC offers reasonable prices.
The standard “Trust Me” menu option gives you 8 pieces of sushi, 2 hand rolls, edamame and tuna sashimi for $39 with gratuity included. Check out the lunch and dinner menus.
Sugarfish does not take reservations, so expect to wait for a table. Hours are Monday to Saturday, 11:30am to 10pm, and Sundays from noon to 9pm.
Chef Nozawa wants to make your dining easy with his mantra “Don’t Think. Just Eat”, and good sushi dining doesn’t get much easier than this.
Sugarfish NYC is now open at 33 East 20th Street, between Park Avenue South and Broadway.
Sugarfish has ten locations in Los Angeles, including Downtown, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Pasadena and and Studio City,
Welcome to New York City, Sugarfish. We hope you are as successful here as you are in Los Angeles.
