Reminder to get your tickets for the annual FREE admission day at more than 1,400 museums in all 50 states. Smithsonian Museum Day Live! is next Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015.
Even though admission is free, you can’t just walk in. A free ticket is required for the free admission. Each ticket admits two people, so if you are a group of more than two, register with different email addresses for the two-ticket limit. Tickets do not include special exhibits, parking or showings such as IMAX.
Whether you are part of group or not, go early in the day, since museums have the right to make you wait in favor of paying customers if space reaches capacity.
Your Smithsonian Museum Day Live! ticket will be e-mailed, and you must print it and bring it with you for free entry.
