Celebrate the 60th anniversary of what is arguably the best Hollywood musical ever made, Singin’ in the Rain, with a special one-night only screening in movie theaters in New York City and 200 movie theaters throughout the United States. The special event is Tuesday, July 12th, and includes an interview with Debbie Reynolds, talking about her experiences working with the late Gene Kelly and Donald O’Connor, and a behind-the-scenes look making this film. It’s a Turner Movie Classics special event, with TCM host Robert Osborne. In New York City, see this special Singin’ in the Rain 60th Anniversary showing at AMC Empire 25 and Union Square 14 theaters in Manhattan. Singin’ in the Rain is my favorite movie of all time, and likely yours, too. Gene Kelly, Donald O’Connor and Debbie Reynolds dancing through puddles, dancing on the furniture — see them just singing, and dancing in the rain, on the big screen. Priceless.
