Celebrate Purim with six days of films about the Jewish experience around the world, plus and conversations with filmmakers and artists, at the 17th annual Sephardic Jewish Film Festival, in Flatiron. The festival features 18 films, including a documentary about the disappearance in Iraq of an Iraqi-Jewish journalist.
The Sephardic Jewish Film Festival is Saturday through Thursday at the Center for Jewish History, 15 West 16th St. Tickets are $13 for films, more for films with discussions or performances, with discounts for seniors 62+ and students.
