The Bank of America — $1 million — half to the American Red Cross Hurricanes 2012 fund and half to national, regional and local nonprofits to support long-term recovery needs.
Gap — $1 million — $250,000 worth of clothing, plus $750,000 in cash to the Red Cross.
Hanes — $1 million worth of Hanes and Champion fleece sweatshirts and sweatpants and women’s and men’s underwear that Fashion Delivers is distributing.
Polo Ralph Lauren — $2 million — $1 million to the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City and $1 million to relief efforts, dividing the money between the Robin Hood Relief Fund, the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund and to local organizations for relief and rebuilding efforts in New Jersey, Connecticut, Long Island and Westchester County.
Capital One — $1 million –$200,000 in emergency relief grants,$600,000 to support longer-term recovery efforts, and matching up to $200,000 in contributions made by customers through the Capital One No Hassle Giving site.
Kohl’s Department Stores — $1 million cash donation to the American Red Cross
Microsoft — $2.5 million — divided among the American Red Cross and the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City, along with in-kind donations of software, hardware and services to support relief efforts.
Home Depot — $1 million, plus ten truckloads of cleaning supplies to New York and New Jersey — five trucks to each, filled with shovels, contractor bags, , work gloves, disinfectant and other much-needed supplies to help municipalities and individual homeowners clean up the mess.
