Sakura Matsuri is the annual cherry blossom festival celebrated both in Japan and in Brooklyn. More than 200 cherry trees line Cherry Walk and the Cherry Esplanade in the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. When they are in full bloom each spring, it is a fairyland of pink blossoms and green grass.
Get tickets now to celebrate the blossoms and the culture of Japan at the Sakura Matsuri cherry blossom festival next weekend, April 30nd May 1st, with a two-day schedule of events including Ikebena flower arranging, wood block printing, dance performances, and hands-on workshops for the kids.
