New York City’s legendary Roundabout Theatre is celebrating its 50th Anniversary with tickets priced the year it was founded. That would be $19.65, for orchestra seats to plays including Noises Off, The Robber Bridegroom, She Loves Me and Long Day’s Journey Into Night.
The $19.65 tickets are a promo called Retro Roundabout, and available only via a daily lottery from the online version of TKTS, the same -day discount ticket seller with that huge and busy kiosk in Times Square.
You must enter the lottery for each show you want to see, and you are notified a few hours before curtain time if you have won two tickets. Details here.
Also remember that you can get $20 tickets to Off-Broadway shows for performances through Sunday, March 13, in the promotion called 20at20. Details here.
