One of the best FREE events of the summer begins today, with eleven days of family-friendly music, dance, theater and visual arts performances around Lower Manhattan and on Governors Island.
The 16th annual River to River Festival is June 14-25 with a couple of dozen events, including the annual Night at the Museums celebration with FREE admission to museums in Lower Manhattan, including the National September 11 Museum.
Some other River to River Festival 2017 events –
- A storytelling station at the Winter Garden at Brookfield Place
- Performances of Caesars Rebellion by the Black Gotham Experience
- Earth Potential, an all-day performance art event at City Hall Park, over four days
