Join a rally in Union Square on Sunday against the growing threat of global Jihad, including a protesting about all the minority populations worldwide subjected to genocide, oppression and violence by radical Islam jihadists.
Show your moral outrage against jihadist beheadings of Christians and starvation of Yazidis in Iraq, kidnapping and selling young girls into slavery in Nigeria, and violence against Buddhists in Muslim parts of Southeast Asia and against Jews in Europe and Scandanavia. The rally also is to show support for Israel.
The rally is 3:45 PM to 7 PM Sunday. Speakers are from a wide spector of religions, freedom activists and others. There will also be entertainment from international singing groups.
Speakers include Jihad Watch director Robert Spencer; New York State Assemblyman Dov Hikind; Israeli scholar Mordechai Kedar; Sudanese freedom activist Simon Deng; Ashraf Ramelah, the head of Voice of the Copts; Arish Sahani, Senior Vice President of the Indian American Intellectuals Forum.
The rally is sponsored by Pamela Geller, president of the American Freedom Defense Initiative (AFDI) and freedom activist Assaf Shilony.
You are asked to bring anti-Jihad protest signs to the rally or the flag of your home country. Since many New Yorkers are born in other lands, or have relatives suffering at the hands of jihadists, there should be many national flags.
