Plug-In America Day is being celebrated in New York City and nationwide on Saturday, Sept. 28th, with FREE car shows, displays and workshops about about electric cars and energy efficient driving. The NYC event is at the Madison Square Park Pedestrian Plaza, that triangle formed by Fifth Ave. and Broadway at 23rd St. See the Nissan Leaf, the Mitsubishi Mi-EV and other electric cars.
National Plug-In America Day in is sponsored by Plug-In America, Sierra Club and Electric Car Association. The NYC event also is sponsored by Nissan and Schneider Electric, which makes charging units for electric cars.
