The new and improved Shake Shack has the exact same look and feel as the original, with a modern kitchen and other “back of the house” improvements. The re-opening celebration includes FREE music and a special burger and beer menu.
From noon to 2pm, the local brass-and-drum Brooklyn United Marching Band performs, and long-time Shack partner Bocce’s Bakery will be handing out free ShackBurgerTM Dog Biscuits.
Shake Shack has partnered with Boundless Brooklyn to create a 100% recycled chipboard replica of the Madison Square Park Shack, made to-scale from the 2015 architectural renderings of the Shack. The first 100 guests in line will receive a free commemorative model of the Madison Square Park Shack. The model kits will also be available for purchase for $20.
Plus, ChrisRWK will be curating a live artist-designed Madison Square Park Shack model kit demo with artists: Rey “The DR¡F!” Rosa and Marthalicia Matarrita (m2), from 11am to 2pm.
Shake Shack also is introducing a burger and a beer to be available only at the Madison Square location. The ParkBurger (single, $7.09; double, $9.39) is topped with cave-aged Jasper Hill Farm raw cow’s milk cheese sauce and all-natural Niman Ranch applewood smoked bacon. This is the first time for Shake Shack to marry a burger with cheese from the renowned, Vermont farm and cheesemonger, Jasper Hill.
The beer is by Shake Shack’s long-time partner Brooklyn Brewery, called SHACK PHOENIX, an unfiltered lager.
