Get smart, or smarter, at least, at One Day University in NYC. This all-day event features professors from Columbia, Harvard and other top schools discussing climate change, the meaning of the Arab Spring, national security, even the story behind Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony. There are one-hour classes all day and breaks in between, just like real college., 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., on Saturday, Sept. 28th, at the New York Hilton in Midtown Manhattan. Regular price is $239, but the price drops to $149 with the NYCOTC/Ticketwatch code TX149.
As we said – get smart, or smarter, at least. And be sure to bring something on which to take notes –my choice is old-fashioned pen or pencil and paper. And business cards, too, for networking with your classmates.
