POSTED BY
Evelyn Kanter

SummerStage 2017 free concerts

NYC SummerStage, the annual series of FREE popular outdoor music concerts in New York City parks in all five boroughs begins June 3rd, with performances just about every day through Labor Day.

Top performers include R&B, Latin, hip hop and jazz, folk, the annual Metropolitan Opera Recital series, plus dance performances.

This year’s featured performers include gospel icon Mavis Staple, plus Elvis Costello, Denzel Curry and the Jimmy Heath Big Band, and folk music icon Buffy St. Marie.

SummerStage concerts are FREE, except for a few ticketed ticketed fund-raising events at Central Park SummerStage shows including Gov’t Mule, PJ Harvey, Elvis Costello and Regina Spektor.

If you’re not doing this already, subscribe to NYC on the Cheap’s daily emails (just one a day).

Follow us and like us on Facebook and on Twitter @nyccheap.

Here’s the SummerStage 2017 calendar, so you can save the dates  for your must-see performers and concert location, including the annual SummerStage Kids and SummerStage Famly Day.
