NYC’s own Paragon Sporting Goods is sponsoring a special scavenger hunt that benefits Riverkeeper NY, the eco-group founded by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to clean up the Hudson River, and other rivers and waterways.
The race, called Your Own Way, is tomorrow, Saturday, May 31st, and involves taking a photo of yourself at nine designated Manhattan landmarks, and uploading that selfie on Twitter or Instagram with the location, the tag #YOW (for Your Own Way) and @paragonsports.
The landmarks are all between 79th Street and Battery Park. The race starts at the Paragon store in Union Square, and Battery Park.
Racers who finish by 3PM get a Marmot mug and a $25 Paragon gift card. Since registration is $25, if you finish by 3PM, you have raced for free.
Fastest finishers get cash and Paragon gift cards between $500 and $2,500.
There’s still time to register for the race tomorrow- click here. You can race on your own or as part of a team.
