Monday Menus — Competition is slicing the cost of a slice on Sixth Avenue to 79 cents or less. Three pizza shops on the same block of Sixth Ave. between 37th and 38th Streets are having a price war, and the winner is the hungry New Yorker. The NY Times is calling it the Pizza Wars — here’s the link to the full article — between Bombay Fast Food/6 Ave Pizza, a combination pizza place and convenience store, Joey’s Pepperoni Pizza, and 2 Bros. pizza. Slices were 79 cents and 75 cents last week. Maybe competition will lower the price even further this week.
