The fall Film Forum schedule for Sunday mornings is just what every stressed-out parent needs. Seriously cheap and seriously entertaining films kids and grown-ups can enjoy together range from Marx Brothers mayhem to the Charlie Chaplin classic, The Great Dictator. Kids will see it as silly fun, while smart grown-ups will recognize it as a stinging political satire, about a buffoon who wants our votes.
Make that dreaded “Mom, I’m bored” whine disappear. Ditto, the complaint “why don’t we ever do something interesting”.
Starting next Sunday, Sept. 11, a just $8 per ticket, enjoy these classic Hollywood and foreign films for just $8. That’s cheap. That’s NYC on the Cheap.
