Celebrate Hanukkah in NYC this weekend at a special musical performance designed for kids 4-8. My Favorite Something is at the Museum of Jewish Heritage, based on two favorite stories, Joseph Had a Little Overcoat and Something From Nothing.
My Favorite Something is 10:30am, Sunday, Nov, 22, and includes hands-on art activities and snacks.
Tickets are $8, and sold at the door.
There also are special Hanukkah events for families on Sunday, Dec. 6 and a FREE drop-in event Sunday, Dec. 13. More information on this direct link to family events.
The Museum of Jewish Heritage is at 36 Battery Place, at the western edge of Battery Park.
Be sure to visit the Garden of Stones, my personal favorite spot at this museum. And take the kids for a ride on the new Sea Glass Carousel in Battery Park.
