nyc halloween events for grownupsBoo! Halloween isn’t just for kids.  These are the best NYC Halloween events for grown-ups only, including crypt crawls, haunted houses and the Village Halloween Parade. Make reservations soonest for events with limited space, and to get your choice of dates. As always, nothing on the NYC on the Cheap list costs more than $25, and many events are FREE. We recommend you get tickets or RSVP soonest for events like crypt crawls, where space is limited.

There’s no limits on fun at these Fall Festival and Halloween events, even for grown-ups.

The pre-show includes a tribute to the late George Romero, a costume parade and a showing of short film Alice Jacobs Is Dead at New York’s United Palace Theatre. A post-movie zombie panel features filmmaker and comic book artist Sandy Jimenez, filmmaker Kenneth Filmer, and Alex Horwitz (Alice Jacobs Is Dead, Hamilton’s America).  One night only, Sunday, Oct. 29, at a grand old movie theater in Washington Heights. Tickets online are COMP, with a small service fee.
