One of the nicest things about NYC is the community gardens which sprout in parks and empty lots, offering peaceful places, and fresh flowers and veggies. The GreenThumb Harvest Fair celebrates them, with a family friendly day of activities including puppet-making and a chef’s contest.
The GreenThumb Harvest Fair 2016 celebrates the close of the growing season, this Saturday, Sept. 17.
Bring your best harvest from your GreenThumb Community Garden to win prizes – Registration begins at 11:00 a.m.
