El Museo del Barrio celebrates its 40th Annual Three Kings Day Parade on Friday, January 6, 2017 ,with live camels and other animals, gigantic hand-made puppets, live music and more. It’s the NYC version of the traditional Latino celebration at the only NYC museum devoted to Latin American and Latino art and Latino influences on NYC culture.
The Three Kings Day Parade is FREE, and includes free gallery admission at the museum, after winding through the streets of East Harlem. Here’s the schedule:
11:00am–12:30pm, El Barrio Parade begins at 106th St. and Lexington Ave. and ends at 115th St. and Park Ave.

12:00pm–1:00pm, La Marqueta Celebrate the end of the parade with traditional Puerto Rican music and food. Sponsored by Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito, La Marqueta Retoña, Acacia Network, and the New York City Economic Development Corporation.
