Adorama Inspire is organized by NYC camera and electronics shop Adorama, with dozens of events from Monday, June 25 through Friday, June 29th, and again on Sunday, July 1.
Although most events are in Chelsea and Union Square, there are more than a dozen field trip programs, such as a sunset photography workshop on Dumbo Pier, a workshop in macro photography at the New York Botanical Garden.
There’s even a session on high speed sports photography at Belmont Racetrack, sessions on how to photograph and video with drones, and another on how to capture animals, at the Central Park Zoo.
Adorama Inspire offers:
Portrait setups for photographers well as a runway featuring cameras, lighting and tripods from top brands. Learn to edit and print photos and more, including tips for wedding photography and video and for children’s portraits.
Cinematographers can try the latest cinema equipment while shooting a live graffiti mural artist and drones in an enclosed drone net.
Audio enthusiasts and musicians will be able to try podcasting, home recording studio equipment and musical instruments in demo situations.
Indoor workshops with experts including from Canon, Nikon and Sigma, are FREE.
Photowalks and field programs range from $20 to $50.
Registration is required to ensure space for all sessions.
