Lincoln Center Out of Doors is three weeks of FREE music concerts, dance performances and movie screenings, with afternoon and evening events July 26 to August 13, with more than 100 performances.
Highlights include a tribute to rock ‘n’ roll legend Chuck Berry, who passed away recently, a Family Weekend with Double Dutch demonstrations and competitions, and your chance to see NYC’s own Paul Taylor Dance Company, all for FREE.
There’s an evening of Bollywood films, a performance by the Spanish Harlem Orchestra, and Talking Drums, with performers representing Caribbean, Japanese, African and Native American drumming traditions, and more.
Lincoln Center Out of Doors includes the annual Roots of American Music Weekend, August 12/13, with a concert by ten-time Grammy winner Bonnie Raitt and six-time Grammy-winning accordianist and conjunto pioneer Flaco Jimenez.
