Learn how New York City museums use social media to capture attention, and get ideas about promoting and monetizing your own business, website or app in a FREE lecture in midtown.
The discussion features Paola Antonelli, senior curator of architecture and design at the Museum of Modern Art; Sebastian Chan, director of digital and emerging media at Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum; and Sree Sreenivasan, chief digital officer at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and generally acknowledged to be one of the top social media experts on planet earth. The program is moderated by CUNY Graduate Center’s Lev Manovich.
The program is Tuesday, April 22 at 6:30 p.m. at 365 Fifth Avenue at 34th St. Even though it’s free, a reservation is required to ensure space.
I’ll be there, because as often as I’ve heard Sree Sreenivasan speak at events such as the recent New York Times Travel show – where I was also a speaker – I always learn something from him.
