Labor Day weekend is the official end of summer in NYC, but no worries, because it also means an extra day of FREE and cheap events to enjoy NYC on the cheap. As always, nothing on this list of NYC weekend events is more than $10, because NYCOTC believes you can be cheap and still have fun in the greatest city in the world. Since these are outdoor events, let’s hope the weather cooperates.
Also because there is so much happening, check back tomorrow for Monday’s schedule, which include the West Indian Day Parade.
#FreeInNYC on Friday:
Madison Square Park celebrates its 200th birthday next weekend, but is starting the festivities today, Aug. 29th with a free hat making crafts workshop.
