How do I love thee? Let me count the ways – FREE ways, that is, to celebrate Valentine’s Day in New York City.
Here are six romantic things to do with your favorite person on Feb. 14, 2019:
Renew your vows in Times Square
There’s a giant love-in at the Crossroads of the World on Valentine’s Day. Join the crowd on the Red Steps to say “I do” all over again.
Couples of all ages and backgrounds will profess their love once again, with a special invitation extended to lovebirds whose kisses bridge boundaries, be they religious, political, racial, or national, as well as couples in wedding attire.
The ceremony is preceded by a performance from Pretty Woman: The Musical and will conclude by 6:30pm.
Additionally, one couple attending the event will win a pair of tickets to Pretty Woman: The Musical.

My choice would be after dark, when the Statue of Liberty is bathed in light, and the Manhattan skyline twinkles happily in the distance
Ice Skating at Bryant Park
Why pay to go ice skating at Rockefeller Center or Wollman Rink in Central Park, when this skating rink steps from Times Square is FREE.
