The annual SUNY Health & Wellness Expo is this weekend in Midtown with FREE screenings by eye doctors, foot doctors, cancer doctors and dentists, FREE blood tests for diabetes, and FREE exhibits by health and wellness experts including about nutrition, aging, Alzheimers, Down Syndrome and lupus.
Participating doctors and dentists are from SUNY and NYU.
It is open to all ages, and medical insurance is not required to receive a FREE health care screening.
The FREE health and wellness day is Saturday, August 3rd, 11am to 3pm, at the SUNY College of Optometry building, 33 West 42nd St., between Fifth and Sixth Aves.
There also are FREE activities for the kids, such as face painting.
There are no reservations for screenings or tests, which include vision tests, foot tests and mammograms.
Just show up, sign up, and wait your turn.
The SUNY College of Optrometry also offers monthly FREE vision screenings.
The next one is Monday, August 26th, 4:30pm to 6:30pm on the 6th floor.
