Anybody in your family headed to college or graduate school soon? Then put one or both of these FREE college fairs on your list, to meet with top colleges, universities and business schools, and financial aid workshops to learn how to pay for it.
The college fairs are this weekend for business schools, and Sept. 29 for undergrads.
Connect MBA New York is Saturday, Sept. 16th, 1:30pm to 6pm, at the New York Hilton, Seventh Ave. at 53rd St. Representatives include top NYC business schools at from Columbia, NYU and Fordham in NYC, plus Harvard, Wharton, Cornell, UCLA, Boston University, and the London Business School.
The fair also includes an alumni career panel and a workshop on how to prepare for thee GMAT. Registration is required to ensure space.
The college fair for undergrads is at the NYPL on Fifth Avenue, with the lions out front, on Friday, Sept. 29, 10am to 2pm.
BridgeUP Out-of-School Time program at the New York Public Library is hosting the first-ever College Fair @ NYPL, at Bartos Forum.
Colleges, universities, and community-based organizations will be on hand to share information and resources with students and families.
Although the college fair is free, registration is required to ensure space.
Be sure to bring something to take notes, especially for the financial aid workshops. We prefer old-fashioned pen and paper.
