Sleep over on a real aircraft carrier berthed in the Hudson River. Operation Slumber aboard New York City’s Intrepid Sea, Air + Space Museum is booking dates for the rest of 2016.. The next Intrepid sleepover is Saturday/Sunday, September 24th, and there are six more dates this year.
It is a unique and memorable event for a favorite young person in your life, and it’s never too soon to think about holiday gifts.
Young adventurers age 6-17 get after-hours guided tours of the museum, a 4D flight simulator ride on the Intrepid’s XD Cosmic Coaster, a souvenir t-shirt and a take-home bag goodies. Participants also get a FREE voucher for museum entry within the next 60 days..
Perhaps most importantly — sleepovers offer private time in the Space Shuttle Pavillion with the star of the Intrepid, the USS Enterprise.
In addition to September 24th, remaining dates in 2016 for Operation Slumber aboard the Intrepid are October 1 and 22, November 5 and 19 (November 12 is already sold out) and December 3 and 10.
