The NYC Food Film Festival combines two of New York City’s main passions, food and film. Watch films about food while you sample those foods, prepared by star chefs, both during and after the film. We’re not talking about popcorn or nachos, but gourmet meals.
The five-day festival is tomorrow, Oct. 29 through Saturday, November 1st. There’s also a special costume event on Halloween.
Tickets are $85, which sounds steep until you realize it’s a movie plus dinner, prepared by a star chef, including drinks. Plus, you get a goodie bag to take home.
All the screenings are ll events take place at AMC Village 7 at 66 Third Avenue in the East Village.

The Food Film Festival will be in Chicago next month, and in Charleston in Spring 2015. Sounds like this is an idea that’s going national.
