cinco de mayo nycNYC loves Cinco de Mayo, with events celebrating all things Mexican, including music and Margaritas.

Cinco de Mayo 2018 falls on a Saturday, so celebrations have a weekend vibe.

Get discount tickets now to these NYC Cinco de Mayo events before they sell-out, including a celebration brunch with Tequila and a party cruise, all for adults only.

There also are family-friendly Cinco de Mayo events.

Cinco de Mayo & Kentucky Derby Party – This year, two of the biggest party days – Cinco de Mayo and the Kentucky Derby – fall on the same day this yearmay have to step up your party line. Double-down in at a hotel bar in Midtown includes an hour-long open tequila bar and specials on Derby Day bourbon cocktails while you catch the Run for the Roses on multiple HD TVs. Keep the party going as DJs set the soundtrack and play games including bowling, Skee-Ball, bingo and more.

best nyc museums for kidsCinco de Mayo Celebration at the Museum of the City of New York – This special annual family day celebrates the rich diversity of Mexican and Mexican-American cultural heritage. Learn about the origins of this holiday and listen to traditional Mexican music while you decorate your own New York-inspired picado banner while you enjoy a special free snack. FREE with museum admission. Geared toward families with children ages 6-12 years old, and include a snack. Activities are designed for adults and children to complete together.

This hunt celebrates Cinco de Mayo with an amazing bar crawl, so you must be at least 21 year old. Each member of the winning team receives a New York City gift package.   The scavenger hunt takes two hours. Please wear comfortable shoes and bring a Metrocard. It is advisable to form a team before you start.  Registration begins at 6pm.

This elegant boat features bars, hardwood dance floors, DJ music, two climate-controlled decks and an expansive observation deck where you can enjoy the fresh air and incredible sights. Food and beverages for purchase. Cruise sails at 11pm from Lower Manhattan, boarding starts at 10pm.
