The winners are announced at a breakfast during the preview days for automotive journalists, before the New York International Auto Show opens to the public. NYCOTC editor Evelyn Kanter will be there, as a credentialed automotive journalist, although I’m not one of the 75 international auto writers who selected the finalists based on their test drives and evaluations of all the candidates.
This year marks the fourth consecutive year that the World Car Awards has been ranked its ranking as the number one automotive awards program in the world in terms of media reach.
Get tickets online in advance now, and avoid the wait to get in. Tickets are $17 for adults, and $7 for kids. Unlike past years, there are no online discounts.
Good luck to all the finalists. See you at the Show!
