Celebrate New York’s maritime history with free boat rides on a tug, a fireboat and a schooner, hands-on tours of museum ships, a circus on a showboat, fishing on the pier, a party on a wooden barge, and more.
The annual FREE North River Historic Ship Festival is today through Tuesday, June 24th, along what was originally called North River and now is called the Hudson River, at Pier 25, North Moore Street, a block from Chambers St.
This family-friendly event is now in its sixth year.
With five days of daily events, we can’t list them all here. See the festival website for the full schedule, including how to get tickets for the free boat rides.
