The annual New York Jewish Film Festival at Lincoln Center features international films about the Jewish experience around the world. This year, that includes a documentary about Amy Winehouse, a film about Jewish life in Tehran before the Islamic revolution, a documentary about the famous Jewish comedians of the 1950s, and another about the real-life story of .
The series is through Thursday, Jan. 23rd, and several showings include a Q & A with the director or other filmmaker. Click here for the schedule and blurbs about each film. Tickets are $13 general admission, $9 for students and seniors.
