The flights are through the end of April and resume again in November 2020.

What’s to see and do in Guadeloupe?

Plenty.  Chill out on a secluded  beach and chill, go surfing, hike through lush rainforests or enjoy the energy of Carnival, You can do it in Guadeloupe.

There are your choice of black volcanic sand beaches and gold and white sand beaches; surfing and scuba diving, eco-tourism activities like hiking La Soufrière rainforest, waterfall canyoneering, horseback riding and more.

With it’s combination of Afro-Caribbean customs and French style, there’s also great food including Creole cuisine.

Why you should visit the Guadeloupe Islands:Guadeloupe is made up of five major islands to explore. Seen from above, the two main islands of Guadeloupe form the shape of butterfly wings.

On the west side, Basse-Terre is set on a volcano range, topped by La Soufrière at the heart of dense tropical forests.

The rainforest-covered mountain range forms part of a national park, which includes many hiking trails.

To the east, just across the narrow la Rivière Salée, Grande-Terre is set on a vast limestone plateau bordered by perfect beaches, turquoise lagoons which share the coastline with amazing surfing spots and unforgettable landscapes.

The smaller, but equally beautiful islands of Marie Galante, Les Saintes and La Désirade are just a short ferry ride from the main islands.

These are primarily fishing villages, and visiting them is like visiting the Caribbean as it used to be, before grand resorts.
